Abstract In the era of digitalization, constructing an intelligent application ecosystem for digital textbooks in higher education institutions is of profound significance. Currently, the field is plagued by issues including uneven content quality, inadequate intelligent application, underdeveloped regional coordination mechanisms, and insufficient technical support and guarantees. Drawing on practical cases such as the Yangtze River Delta and the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, this study proposes an ecosystem framework centered on four core elements: content development, technological integration, talent support, and platform construction. By implementing strategies like establishing regional coordination mechanisms and enhancing the integration of intelligent technologies, the framework aims to address redundant resource development and improve teaching effectiveness, thereby providing valuable insights and references for relevant practices.
