Abstract To explore the integration of vocational and general education model for cultivating application-oriented aviation talents and technical-skilled professionals, this paper develops a micro-level practical approach for enhancing aviation talents’ professional competence within the context of integration of vocational and general education through implementing second classroom activities that promote the bidirectional integration of theory and practice. The study effectively utilizes the mutual selection of activity projects and shared resource platforms in personalized talent cultivation, while establishing an iterative educational mechanism with a positive feedback loop that integrates curriculum learning, competition-based assessment, and teaching-research capacity enhancement. This model can be implemented at the micro level in talent program formulation, classroom instruction, and credit recognition.
