Abstract With the development of social economy and the popularization of education, the scale of the "NEET group" in the new era continues to expand, which has become a global social problem. Taking Jilin Province as an example, this study systematically presents the profile of the NEET group from four dimensions: school, family, society and individual through literature analysis, questionnaire survey and in-depth interview, analyzes the reasons for its formation from the above four aspects, and puts forward suggestions to help the NEET group overcome the difficulties.
