Abstract Focusing on the industry-education integration practice of New Media Operations course in application-oriented undergraduate universities, this study addresses the problems of traditional teaching modes, including the unrealistic simulation environment, significant gaps between student outcomes and project requirements, and the difficulty in balancing value and traffic. To enhance students' practical abilities and stimulate enterprises' enthusiasm for industry-education integration, strategies such as reconstructing course content, embedding real-world enterprise work scenarios, and constructing a new value ecosystem are presented. The practice results demonstrate that this model provides a replicable solution to the challenge of "two layers of skin" in industry-education integration and offers insights for future deep optimization of the course system.
