Abstract: The advent of artificial intelligence(AI) and the extensive application of AI technology have opened new paths for the employment of college students. The technology made up for the shortcomings of traditional data processing methods, enhanced the efficiency and quality of data processing and optimized the employment service and career planning process, which helped achieve the employment effectiveness of college students. In this paper, the current situation of employment data management in colleges and universities is considered to construct an AI-based employment management mechanism which includes data collection and storage, data processing and mining, and data application. The mechanism assists colleges and universities in completing the integrated management of employment data, the prediction of employment destinations, and the precise recommendation of targeted information and employment guidance. In the end, the author shows his outlook for the development trend of employment services in colleges and universities in the context of AI development.
