Abstract Self-revolution is the unique strength of the Communist Party of China to maintain its pioneering nature and purity, and it is also the core driving force to enhance the role of the Party organization in the new era.From the perspective of theoretical logic, enhancing the role of the Party organization with the spirit of self-revolution not only is the action which shows the inheritance of the historical experience of the Party in strengthening the power of the Party organization through self-revolution, but also responds to the need to solve practical problems such as weakening and virtualization of the role of Party organization. From the perspective of practice, the spirit of self-revolution must be transformed into concrete actions to enhance the role of Party organization. The study of this issue helps to deepen the understanding of the law of Party construction and provides practical guidance for the Party to deal with the "four major tests" and "four dangers".
