Abstract Focusing on leveraging AI to enhance students' data analysis skills, we propose a student-centered, practice-oriented, technology-integrated, and systematically structured curriculum development model. This model emphasizes progressiveness and coherence, with AI empowerment embedded throughout the various stages of statistical teaching: pre-class autonomous learning, in-class deep data analysis, and post-class knowledge internalization. It provides theoretical references and practical pathways for the intelligent transformation of statistical education. This approach is of significant importance for promoting the innovative development of statistical practice teaching, improving overall teaching quality, and enhancing students' data analysis skills.
