Exploring the Pathways for Integrating Chinese Traditional Culture into Ideological and Political Education in Universities-Taking Architecture Universities as an Example

Abstract: The importance of ideological and political education for college students is increasingly prominent. The rich cultural content and ideological connotations embedded in traditional Chinese culture serve as high- quality resources for universities to carry out ideological and political education. However, how to uncover the ideological elements within it and integrate them skillfully into ideological and political education is a key issue that universities need to consider under the new era's backdrop. This paper takes the integration of traditional Chinese architectural culture into architectural universities as an example. By exploring the ideological resources contained in traditional Chinese architectural culture, it seeks to explore the paths to incorporate them into the ideological and political education system of architectural universities.This not only enhances students' sense of national identity and cultural pride but also provides reference value and learning significance for constructing a high-quality curriculum-based ideological and political education system and serving the construction of a culturally strong country.
